MUSKEGON RIVER STEELHEAD FISHING REPORT: Dec 19th, 2009

Some of the largest Brown Trout are being caught in Muskegon and on the Manistee river the world record Brown Trout was caught today on the Manistee river 41.7 lbs. In 2008 a 28.7 lb Brown Trout was caught on our boat the Barbara Rose out of Muskegon. Book your trip today and get in on some of the action.

Dec 18th Muskegon river Steelhead fishing has been very productive, we are catching fresh fish every trip.

Nov 24th Kevin,Bruce,Mike and Capt. Art went fishing for Whitefish in the Muskegon channel landing over 30 whitefish and Capt. Art landed a 15lb Lake Trout.

Nov 20th Muskegon river the last few days we have had a surge of fresh Steelhead move into the river.

Nov 11th Today Capt. Art and Jim checked out a new stretch and in the first hour and a half landed 6 out of 7 chrome Steelhead. Fish are through the entire system if you haven't booked your trip now's the time, the next few weeks should be good fishing.

Nov 10th Michigan fishing is awesome right now today had the privelage of fishing with Doug and young Peter who hooked and landed his limit of Steelhead as well as dad 7 for 8. I really enjoyed fishing with the both of you.

Nov 7th Michigan Steelhead trip today with Joe,John, Tim and C had an excellent trip today landed 5 for 9 nice Steelies.

Nov 5th Muskegon river Steelhead fishing today with Walt,Ron and Gary had a great trip landing 3 out of 5.

Oct 22nd Went out this morning to try out the new motor,through out a couple of lines with my son and landed 2 nice Steelies

Oct 17th Fished again today with Devin and Tammy had a great trip landing 6 nice one's, it was great fishing with you guy's.

Oct 16th Muskegon river Salmon trip with Tammy and Devin landed several Salmon one of the fish was 44"

Oct 14th Muskegon river trip today with Kent and Ron had an awesome trip landing 8 Salmon and 2 fresh Steelhead.

Oct 11th Muskegon river trip today with Steve,Steve and Gary we landed several Salmon today and a fresh Steelhead today was the 3rd day we've landed Steelhead. The Steelhead are moving in!

Oct 9thMuskegon river Salmon trip today with Mike and all the guy's. Thanks to Capt.Kevin for helping make this trip a successful one, we landed lots of fish between the 2 boats and we had a great time fishing with everyone.

Oct 8thMuskegon river trip with Joe and Jenifer today landed several nice Salmon and hooked to many to count.Congratulations on your recent marriage it was nice fishing with the 2 of you and great job fishing.

Sept 27th Fished Muskegon river Salmon today with Mo and the guy's had a great tripfishing with everyone and landed 4 nice Salmon.

Sept 26th Muskegon river trip today with Bruce and Daniel had a great trip landing 5 nice chrome Salmon.

June 20th Muskegon river fishing with Dave and the boy's from Texas had a non stop fish catching day, with over 75 Trout caught and released, it was a fun day for the guy's, and I had a great time fishing with the family for 2 day's, look forward to next time.

May 16th Muskegon river Steelhead trip with Mike from West Virginia had a great day on the river with minimal boat traffic Mike landed a dandy Brown Trout with several Rainbows and had a few Steelhead hooked up, there are still alot of Steelhead in the river system so there is plenty of time to get a last minute trip in.

Sept 19th Lake Michigan Salmon trip today with Bill,Bill Jr. and Isaac we had a great trip today found fish today in 100 fow and landed 13 nice one's.

Sept 13th Lake Michigan trip with Moses landed 5 nice one's in which one of them landed was a huge Brown Trout which was the 2nd one landed on the Barbara Rose since 2008, last year we took a 28.7 lb Brown and last week the world's largest Brown Trout was caught on the Manistee river, Michigan has been taken some of the largest Browns caught in a long time.

Sept 12th Lake Michigan Salmon trip with Larry and the guy's for their annual outing we had a great trip landing 13 tried fishing in close but due to the heavy traffic had to head out to deep water which paid off.

Sept 6th Lake Michigan trip with Eric and the boy's again landed 9 nice one's, It was fun fishing with you guy's

Sept 5th Lake Michigan Salmon trip with Matt had a good catch.

Sept 4th Evening Salmon trip out of Muskegon with Eric,Aaron,Anna and Devin had an awesome evening trip landing 13 nice one's.
