MUSKEGON RIVER STEELHEAD FISHING REPORT: Feb 3rd, 2012

We are now running trips daily on the Muskegon river.

Feb 3rd Muskegon river Steelhead fishing today with Mike and Deb, couldn't have asked for a better day on the river enjoyed Deb and Mike's company, fishing pressure was heavy see photo gallery for Mike's big Steelhead of the day.

Feb 2nd, 2012 Bruce fished the mid river fishing was slow but managed to land a nice Steelhead, the water conditions are improving.

Feb 1st, 2012 Fished with Bruce this morning, fishing started out great amd then they opened the dam, water conditions went from good to bad immediately.

May 11th Muskegon river trip today with Larry and Justin water conditions were excellent, we had no problem today finding Steelhead, most of the Steelies seemed to be spawned out, but still in good shape, there was fresh fish on the gravel, but real spooky we fished the darker water and that proved to be successful.

April 21st Muskegon river trip today with Bill,Jeff and Allie had a great day on the water, finally a day with no wind, landed 3 nice Steelhead.

April 17th Muskegon river fishing today with Tony,Chris and Jon, I really enjoyed the conversation, Chris finally got his 1st 2 Steelhead today, it snowed like the first day of winter, but when you get to see a young man land his 1st 2 Steelhead life is good!

April 16th Michigan Steelhead fly fishing today with Steven and Keith landed 4 fresh Steelhead.

April 12th Muskegon river fishing today with Harvey and Nick had a beautiful day on the Muskegon river today landing 3 for 8, Nick landing a huge Steelie. It was great meeting and fishing with Nick and Harvey.

LAKE MICHIGAN SALMON FISHING Feb 3, 2012

We are now running trips daily on Lake Michigan.

Oct 28thMuskegon river Steelhead trip today with Art and Beth had an awesome day on the river landing 3 fresh Steelhead, it was great fishing with the both of you again, I enjoyed the conversation.

Oct 12th Due to this unseasonably awesome weather we have been able to get out on Lake Michigan all week, fished today with Craig and Blake and ended the day with a limit catch.

Sept 13th Muskegon Lake Salmon trip with Bob,Bill and Steve had a great evening trip landing 7 huge Kings fresh out of Lake Michigan.

Aug 29th Michigan Salmon fishing this morning with Denise and her crew this has been an exceptional year with larger than normal Salmon being caught we have had fish in the 22,23 lb range daily. Today we had one 25 lbs, these are the fish we used to catch 15 years ago, we seen so many bait fish today swimming on the surface being chased by Salmon that the fish should continue to get bigger for the next couple of years.

July 23rd Muskegon Salmon fishing today with Andrew,Devon and Dave proved to be another successful trip, landed a 17.7,16.4,and 16.2 lb Salmon, there has been a tremendous amount of large fsih this year.

July 20th The Gerber outing proved to be another successful trip, we have been producing some nice catches, morning and afternoons, with some exceptional catches, I enjoyed meeting all the guy's.

July 13th Fished with Joe and the family, the 1st fish was a master angler Lake Trout, largest we have seen in over 10 years, had to cut the trip short but we landed Lake Trouts,Steelheads,Chinook Salmons and lost several others.

July 9th Muskegon Salmon fishing this morning with Rachael had a good trip landing several nice Salmon.

MUSKEGON LAKE FISHING REPORT: Feb 3rd, 2012 Perch fishing of Pointe Marine and the sand docks has been real good, limit catches daily have been reported with fish between 6-11" with some sorting.

WHITE LAKE FISHING REPORT: Feb 3rd, 2012 Indian Bay and the old post office are producing some nice catches of white perch, some limit catches being reported, you do have to do some sorting.
